The Attorney General’s Office has issued Attorney General Guidelines Number 1 of 2021 which serves as a reference for prosecutors in handling cases involving women and children. This guideline not only provides procedural standards, but also forms a new paradigm in handling cases by considering aspects of restorative justice, approaches based on victim recovery, and mechanisms that ensure women and children receive optimal protection in the criminal justice system.
