On 18 June 2026, IJRS held a discussion with Professor Marcus Mietzner, an expert on Indonesian politics from the Australian National University, at Resto Bunga Pepaya in Jakarta.
The discussion involved researchers from IJRS, LeIP, academics from the University of Indonesia, as well as IJRS partners such as AIPJ3-TAF and WFD. During the session, participants discussed various topics related to political developments in Indonesia, the future of democracy in Indonesia, and key changes to consider within the country’s institutional political landscape.
