Sidik is a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Islamic Astronomy (Ilmu Falak) at UIN Walisongo Semarang and holds a Master’s degree in the Sociology of Religion from Satya Wacana Christian University in Salatiga. His research centers on vulnerable groups, with particular focus on human rights, peace studies, the sociology of religion, as well as gender, sexuality, and society.
