Qualitative Data Collection Training

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, Bunga Pertiwi as IJRS researcher had the opportunity to participate in a training session with the SMERU Learning Centre.

The training covered five main topics:

  • The role of qualitative data collectors
  • Understanding qualitative studies
  • Preparation for data collection
  • Implementation of data collection
  • Reporting and problem handling

Not only focused on theory, the training also encouraged participants to engage in interactive discussions, share field experiences, and take part in hands-on practice through role-play simulations on developing interview guides and conducting interviews.

This training provided many practical insights, tips, and technical recommendations that will be valuable in supporting the quality of future research.
