Synopsis:

This narrative is inspired by the activities of the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS) in developing content for the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, supported by the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Justice 2 (AIPJ2) in 2023. This narrative also serves as a shared reflection on the collaborative efforts to uphold the rights of women (and children) in facing legal proceedings, supported by AIPJ2 through various regulations, policies, and implementation plans. It is hoped that this story can continuously serve as a reminder that creating a conducive and responsive environment for victims of sexual violence, cannot be done alone but we must collectively work together to create a sustainable and victim-centered system.
