Guaranteeing press freedom is important, especially in facing the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently occurring in various parts of the world. Antonio Guterres, UN secretary general, said that the press can provide credible information and help the public sort through the facts and assess the veracity of information regarding the ongoing pandemic.

On this basis, ICJR, LBH Press and IJRS conducted research “Covid-19 Pandemic: Press Freedom and Journalist Safety in Crisis”.
