Muhammad Rizaldi is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law of Universitas Indonesia. He subsequently pursued his Master degree from the University of Melbourne, focusing on the same major through the ‘Australia Awards Scholarship 2018’.
His research interests include issues relating to the Justice System, Legal Development, and Access to Justice. He joined IJRS in 2019 and got involved in several programs such as the development of guidance for prosecutor in handling cases involving women, children, and people with disabilities; the development of legal development index and access to justice index; the development of module and training of sexual violence crime law for prosecutor, judge, lawyers.
Recently, he is active as the lead researcher for the Ministry of Human Rights for the development of technical guidance on human rights mainstreaming in the law making process.
