Alexander Tanri

Researcher

Alexander Tanri, S.H., commonly known as Alex, is a graduate of the Bachelor of Laws program at the University of Indonesia. He currently serves as a researcher at the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS), with a strong interest in criminal justice system reform. Alex is actively involved in several IJRS programs, including the drafting of the Narcotics Bill, research on the implementation of the Victim Assistance Fund in Indonesia, evaluation of the Sentencing Guidelines for Corruption Crimes at the Supreme Court, analysis of the impact and costs of handling narcotics-related offenses, and co-authoring the translation of the Dutch Code of Criminal Procedure.
