On Thursday, 21 April 2026, IJRS, together with the Indonesian Association of Legal Aid Institutes for Women and Families (Asosiasi LBH APIK Indonesia), organized a public discussion entitled “15 Years of OGP: Reflections and Challenges of Access to Justice in Open Government Indonesia.” This event was part of Open Government Week, which was simultaneously held by member countries of the Open Government Partnership (OGP).
The public discussion involved government stakeholders and civil society organizations implementing the commitments of the Open Government Indonesia National Action Plan (RAN OGI) in the access to justice sector. In addition to reflecting on the achievements and challenges of the RAN OGI commitments, the discussion also explored implementation strategies, including strengthening paralegal capacity and advocating for the Legal Aid Bill together with the National Law Development Agency (BPHN) of the Ministry of Law, improving the fulfillment of restitution in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Office, and advancing the establishment of an endowment fund for victims of crime in partnership with the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK).
