On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, IJRS participated in a focused group discussion on the drafting of the “Transfer of Sentenced Persons (TSP) Bill,” organized by the Coordinating Ministry for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections.
During this session, IJRS Program Manager for Access to Justice and Good Governance, Marselino H. Latuputty, presented material on the development of TSP regulations in the European Union, the principles of TSP in the UNODC Handbook, as well as a comparison of TSP implementation in countries such as the United States, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Thailand.
