Meeting to Discuss Recommendations on the Mechanism for Preparing the National Action Plan for Open Government Indonesia (RAN OGI)

On Friday, November 29, 2024, a Meeting was held to discuss the Recommendations for the Mechanism of the National Action Plan for Open Government Indonesia (RAN OGI) Moving Forward. This meeting is a strategic step in enhancing government transparency in Indonesia, supported by the European Union through the Open Government Partnership Asia-Pacific Support Unit.

The meeting served as a platform for collaboration between civil society organizations (CSOs), both implementing partners and non-partners of RAN OGI, to engage in comprehensive discussions on various recommendations. The discussions covered the mechanism for drafting the RAN OGI, the co-creation process between the government and civil society, and strengthening the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for its future implementation.

The main objective of this meeting was to build better synergy between the government and civil society in the development and implementation of RAN OGI. By emphasizing the values of government openness and co-creation, it is hoped that this process will lead to the creation of an action plan that is more relevant, accountable, and has a direct impact in Indonesia.
