Recently, some Indonesian public sector leaders completed a two-week Australia Awards Short Course entitled “Strengthening Integrity, Transparency, and Leadership in the Public Sector.” This program equipped participants with practical tools to drive anti-corruption reforms, enhance transparency, and foster accountable leadership within their organizations.
Marcelino, Program Manager for Access to Justice and Good Governance at IJRS, was among the participants of this Australia Awards Short Course.
As part of the program, participants attended the Asia-Pacific Integrity School at Griffith University, where they explored key topics such as whistleblower protection, leadership for integrity, and cutting-edge anti-corruption strategies. They also engaged directly with experts from the Crime and Corruption Commission of Queensland, the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Commonwealth Ombudsman, the Australian Parliament House, the Attorney-General’s Department, and the Australian National Audit Office.
