On Monday, December 2, 2024, the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS) together with the Attorney General’s Office held an event to disseminate the research results on the study “Monitoring and Evaluation of Women and Children in Conflict with the Law Policy: Attorney General Regulation No. 1 of 2021 on Access to Justice for Women and Children in Criminal Case Handling” and the study “Impact of the TPKS Law and the 2023 Criminal Code on the Role of Public Prosecutors in Handling Sexual Violence Cases.”
This research dissemination event, which took place at the Sasana Pradata Hall in the Civil and Administrative Affairs Building (Datun), is also part of the effort to support the accessibility and accountability of the judicial process for vulnerable groups in Indonesia. The event is a manifestation of the implementation of the National Action Plan for Open Government Indonesia (RAN OGI) VII for the 2023–2024 period, specifically Commitment 11.
The purpose of this research dissemination is to present the findings of the study “Monitoring and Evaluation of Women and Children in Conflict with the Law Policy: Attorney General Regulation No. 1 of 2021 on Access to Justice for Women and Children in Criminal Case Handling” and the study “Impact of the TPKS Law and the 2023 Criminal Code on the Role of Public Prosecutors in Handling Sexual Violence Cases” and to receive responses/feedback from the Attorney General’s Office, the Witness and Victim Protection Agency, and Academics on the research results.
