IJRS selected as coordinator for the 18+ Coalition

On August 27, 2024, IJRS was selected as the Coordinator for the 18+ Coalition. Koalisi 18+ is a coalition that focuses on policy advocacy on the issue of child marriage in Indonesia, consisting of various individuals and civil society organizations such as IJRS, ICJR, Koalisi Perempuan Indonesia, Magenta, Semarak Cerlang Nusa, Yayasan Pemantau Hak Anak, Pranikah. org, Jogja Parenting Community, Rifka Annisa, Indonesian Youth Alliance, ECPAT Indonesia, Wahana Visi Indonesia, Plan Indonesia, as well as support from other individuals At the same forum, IJRS Researcher Gladys Nadya was also a speaker at the Seminar on Dissemination of Policy Paper on Fulfilling Child Protection and Marriage Dispensation Case Decisions. In this forum, we are all committed to continuing to oversee the prevention and handling of the impact of child marriage as a form of protection of children’s rights. Collaboration and cooperation will continue to be encouraged together so that the child marriage prevention movement can have more impact and contribute significantly to reducing the number of child marriages in Indonesia.
