{"id":11352,"date":"2024-09-04T13:48:29","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T06:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ijrs.or.id\/?p=11352"},"modified":"2024-09-04T13:52:28","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T06:52:28","slug":"capacity-building-training-for-advocates-on-law-number-12-year-2022-on-sexual-violence-crimes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ijrs.or.id\/en\/2024\/09\/04\/capacity-building-training-for-advocates-on-law-number-12-year-2022-on-sexual-violence-crimes\/","title":{"rendered":"Capacity Building Training for Advocates on Law Number 12 Year 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From August 28-30, 2024, at the Aston Makassar Hotel &amp; Convention Center, the Indonesia Judicial Research Society (IJRS), with the support of The Asia Foundation (TAF) and The United States Department of States \u2013 Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), successfully organized a training event titled \u201cCapacity Building Training for Advocates on Law Number 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of this training was to produce advocates who not only understand the substance of the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes but also possess the necessary competencies to become Trainers who can further train other advocates, legal assistants, and other relevant parties on the Substance of the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes. Additionally, the training sought to enhance the capacity and professionalism of advocates, and provide ongoing legal education and support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The training was attended by approximately 48 advocates representing The Asia Foundation&#8217;s program partners in Papua and 5 advocate organizations, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kongres Advokat Indonesia (KAI)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asosiasi Advokat Indonesia (AAI)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PERADI Rumah Bersama Advokat (PERADI RBA),<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PERADI Suara Advokat Indonesia (PERADI SAI), dan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DPN PERADI.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants came from Makassar, Bali, and Papua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">See how our training has made an impact!
