The Supreme Court recognizes the importance of protecting women and children as vulnerable groups in the justice system. This commitment is reflected in Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) No. 3 of 2017 on Guidelines for Adjudicating Cases of Women Against the Law, as well as Perma No. 5 of 2019 on Guidelines for Adjudicating Marriage Dispensation Cases.

In its implementation, these two Perma are a tangible manifestation of the Supreme Court’s commitment to efforts to encourage access to justice that is gender-equitable and anti-discrimination for women and children. To ensure the effectiveness of the policy, the Supreme Court encourages monitoring and evaluation of the Study on Monitoring and Evaluation of Policy Implementation for Handling Women and Children Against the Law: Supreme Court Regulation No. 3 of 2017 and Supreme Court Regulation No. 5 of 2019 the implementation of the two Perma.
