Naomi Rehulina Barus has been graduate from Law Studies, University of Indonesia and has joined IJRS since 2021. Naomi specializes in Criminal Law and writes a thesis related to the criminal liability of beneficial owners in money laundering schemes involving corporations. Currently, Naomi works as Research Assistant and works around Criminal Justice Reform issues.

Beside work in IJRS, Naomi has also excelled in several competitions such as:

  • 2nd place in the ‘Contract Drafting & Negotiation’ category and the overall winner at the 2019 National Business Law Competition, Pelita Harapan University (Theme: “Managing intellectual Property issues in Franchising)
  • 2nd place in the Contract Drafting & Negotiation category at the Marvellaw UNNES Competition 2019 (Theme: Foreign Direct Investment & Intellectual Property Law)
  • Finalist in the 2020 Essay Writing Competition held by WRI Indonesia (Theme: Tenurial Rights and Conflict Resolution in Papua)
