Nanda Oktaviani (Nanda) graduated from Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia in 2015. Her interest in research (especially quantitative) made Nanda join as a researcher at IJRS. Nanda’s interest in quantitative research and data has made Nanda focus on developing quantitative research methods conducted by IJRS.

During her career as a social science and law researcher, Nanda’s experience was involved in compiling an index of access to justice in Indonesia. In compiling this index, Nanda joined as a research team in the Civil Society Consortium consisting of the Indonesia Judicial Research Society, the Indonesian Legal Roundtable and the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation in collaboration with the Indonesian National Development Planning Agency.

Apart from compiling the index, Nanda was also part of the research team in the legal needs survey research in Lampung and South Sulawesi Provinces. Nanda also participated in the preparation of guidelines for the criminalization of corruption in the Indonesian Supreme Court.

Currently, Nanda is also involved in advocating for the implementation of the next access to justice index with the Indonesian National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and in refining the Hansos module with BPS RI based on the access to justice index and legal needs survey. Finally, Nanda is also involved in advocating for the implementation of legal aid in the framework of a legal needs survey with BPHN.
