Matheus has been graduate from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia. Currently Matheus works as a researcher at IJRS. Matheus works on some programs such as :

  1. Preparation of PERMA 1/2020 concerning Guidelines for the Criminalization of Article 2 and Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law;
  2. Preparation of PERJA 15/2020 concerning Termination of Prosecution with a Restorative Justice Approach;
  3. Research on the Concept of Restorative Justice in the Criminal Justice System in Indonesia;
  4. Preparation of PERJA regarding Guidelines for Criminal Prosecutions in Narcotics Cases;
  5. Preparation of PERMA on Procedures for Settlement of Objections to the Decision on the Confiscation of Goods Not Owned by the Defendant in Cases of Criminal Acts of Corruption.

Matheus also became speaker in a discussion entitled “Socialization/Launching PERMA 1/2020 at the Supreme Court” and in a public discussion entitled “Critical Study of Prosecution Guidelines Number 11 of 2021 concerning Handling Narcotics Cases”.

Matheus was also involved in the drafting team for PERMA 1/2020; PERMA 4/2020; PERJA 15/2020; PERJA Guidelines for Narcotics Criminal Prosecution; PERMA Procedures for Settlement of Objections to the Decision on the Confiscation of Goods Not Owned by the Defendant in the Case of a Criminal Acts of Corruption.
